if you're in the midst of an argument with some dink over right to carry, and all the obvious reasoning just doesn't take, tell him you just want to save him some money...
oh, i'm all for zappin' 'em or tappin' 'em if the cj system can ever get them to that point...
but my point was that the death penalty is carried out fastest, cheapest, and without any "appeals" at all when the victim does the tappin' -as in double tappin' with hot lead- and that's where rtc comes in.

Sounds to me like the problem is with the appeals process, NOT the death penalty! Give 'em 5 years of appeals then strap 'em down.
Sometimes the solution is too simple for the simple minds in elected office.
